Be prepared for the deep, and intense emotions that field school learning sometimes presents. I know I was hit hard for a few years after getting back from my trip…. Sometimes it’s more important to really take in, and listen to presenters, rather than furiously scribbling notes; really pay attention. The importance of flexibility, patience, trust in your classmates... to be able to debrief with them every day.
