Meanwhile, we continue with our support for the Maya Q’eqchi’ plaintiffs in the landmark Hudbay Minerals lawsuits, first filed in 2010, trying to hold Hudbay accountable in Ontario, Canada courts for mining-linked violence in Guatemala.

This aggression was apparently carried out on behalf of the palm company Naturaceites and the Swiss mining company Solway Investment Group, and its subsidiary CGN.
